Giant microbes are a fun and tactile way to learn about micro-organisms. Every microbe featured is a representation of a real microbe as viewed through an electron micrograph, and blown up to about a million times it's normal size.  Admittedly, these microbes in their normal state are not soft, cuddly or colourful, nor do they have the ability to see.  But then they wouldn't be as cute, so kids wouldn't play with and learn about them as much.

All microbes carry an information tag showing microbe characteristics. Some offer a donation to support various charities.
