We are a family run business with over 20 years experience in the education and media sectors. We’re parents too, so our understanding of educational toys is both on a professional and personal level.

Who We Are
‘Big Kid’ is the title Steve puts on his business cards.When he’s not discovering wonderful new toys to add to the CleverStuff catalogue he’s playing with his own kids, snakes, lizards, chickens and several very large dogs at his home. Oh, and birds, fish and cats too! Steve has been working in educational supplies for over 12 years, and has been a child-care center owner/operator for nearly 18 years. So I suppose what we’re trying to say is…he really knows his stuff.
Having spent nearly 20 years in the media and raising three kids, (make that four - an Irish husband) Jo decided it was time to make a change. Kids, play and education are something she is very passionate about, and the opportunity to combine all three and play with some very cool (and very clever) toys was just too good to pass up. Now she gets to talk to extremely interesting kids, play with some totally addictive toys, and loads of geeky science stuff too. She reckons that’s pretty clever.
